virgins (plural noun)
a person who has never had sexual intercourse.
- (the Virgin)
the mother of Jesus; the Virgin Mary.
Being a virgin is not really something one think about when they are young. In older days, talking about sex was a taboo subject in most families for some mysterious reason. It is a part of life and sooner or later, you are going to become aware of your body. More often than not it is around Jr. High and or High School when it seems everyone wants to be beautiful and share themselves sexually with the opposite sex. Virginity is something that is still very sacred in some families and Countries.
Virginity is a gift that you are born with. Spiritually you are supposed to stay intact until your wedding day (or night). Society has gotten so far away from how things are supposed to be done according to God, that young virgins (both male and female) think it is unheard of not to have sex before marriage.
Losing your virginity is something you should think hard and long about before delving into bed with someone who may not mean one iota to you the next day. I try to stress the importance to every young girl who is still intact and who will listen without being offended. There is something quite significant to wearing a white (Pure, Untouched, Clean) wedding dress with a veil covering your face as you walk down the aisle on your wedding day. My mother failed to talk to me about the birds and the bees as a young teen and so I try to do my part by teaching my daughter and or any young girl who come across my path.
Nothing on God’s earth could have prepared me for the night I was with that boyfriend of mine. Not all the talks among friends over the years, no books I’d ever read, no songs that had ever been sung. Making love is a remarkable, painful, excruciating and precious moment and it really should only be experienced between two people during a lifetime.
